I am the Productions Director & DJ of Sonido Tropical Productions. I have appeared in many events in the Bay Area from Nightclubs to productions and corporate. DJ Tabz

I came from Nicaragua, ever since I was a little kid I've had a lot of interest in music and getting into the music industry.

In 1996 I had a lot of curiosity on how to become a DJ, I started practicing with tapes and two radios with my friend Erick Alvares and we didn't know anything on how to do a mix with two radios. From there I had and idea on how to mix whit Turntable so I decided to buy my first two turntables and started purchasing some records, and ever since then I would practice everyday until I knew what I was doing.

So now that I am a DJ Staff of Sonido Tropical productions, I have appeared @ The Edge Night Club, Club BAS, Recently I've competed in the Glaskat Club Battle DJ with DJSmooth and DJSolo. I love to play all kinds of music from HipHop, LatinHouse, R&B, Trance, House, HighEnergy, and OldSchool. I have been mixing latin beats: Salsa, Merengue and Cumbia. I like to start thanking you for taking the time to read my bio. Born in Managua, Nicaragua @ the age of 10 I move to Guatemala, Guatemala where I first came across with the DJWorld and I started my fascination with Tropical but Special caribbean music which are my roots. At the beginng of the 1990 while still a teenager something different came up to the music scene! Something called RAP and that's when I knew that I had to be involved in it in any possible way. I started djing about 4 years ago. I mainly spin HIP HOP but always try to mix it up with my Caribbean music.

If you ask me Do you like Spinning? I probable answer you that is a fun job because not only gives me the pleasure to spin some records but entertain people. DJ Gel

I am currently the youngest one in the Sonido Tropical productions. I
was born and raise here in the Bay Area. I love listening, dancing and
mixing all kinds of latin music like salsa, bachata and merengue. I started
off first in the background setting up everything for parties which
includes sound and lighting equipment, taking pictures for the website and
taking video also. Little by little I started getting familiar with mixing
music, I love to scratch and give my mixes a personal touch. Hope to catch
you one of these days on camera.
