DJLeonardo has been living in the Bay Area since 1984, when He came to this country from Guatemala He was already into the DJ environment from going to different parties and school dances over there.
He always had an interest in becoming a DJ but had no skills or any idea where to start; so He started going to different clubs in San Francisco and in San Jose, to see how DJ's @ that time will mix and spin, some of those DJS were Cameron Paul, DJ Freddy, DJEclipse 1 and started getting tips from them, by 1988 He got interested in becoming one. He started by joining DJ Chaps, They started using turntables and mixing Freestyle Music, They started doing house parties and friends gigs. By the end of the 80's DJLeonardo had an idea of what djing was all about. In 1997 partner DJWill and Him decided to start their mobile DJ services. They decided to call it "Sonido Tropical" which means Tropical Sound and it has grown due to the amount of responsibility and enthusiasm shown with clients.
